FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $21.49 - $27.94 / hour (dependent on experience)

Summary:
The Phlebotomy Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in our healthcare team by performing essential clinical and administrative tasks. This position focuses primarily on phlebotomy and standard medical assistant duties in a Primary Care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient care procedures under the guidance of a provider or nurse.
• Execute basic clinical tasks, including specimen collection, while monitoring and reporting changes in patient conditions.
• Ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and patient registration as needed.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Certification: CMA/RMA and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification required before start date, with valid certification in hand.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Must hold BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
