Carolina Party Partners is an event services company that provides our clients with a one-stop-shop for all types of staffing for their special events, including servers, bartenders, traffic control, admissions, wristbanding, and setup/breakdown assistance.

This posting is for a Parking Lot Attendant for events in the Raleigh/Durham areas. Parking Lot Attendants greet guests as they arrive and efficiently direct vehicles to parking and pickup/dropoff locations, direct guests to the venue entrance, and setup/remove traffic control devices such as cones and signs.  This is posting does NOT include Valet Parking responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding parking rates and restrictions for the specific lot being worked in for each shift.
• Position or remove signs, barricades, and/or cones to prevent direct patrons and to prevent parking in certain spots.
• Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots.
• Direct vehicles to take advantage of all spaces.
• Call parking enforcement/tow trucks if vehicles are parked illegally.
• Issue tags to customers to put up in their windshields for display.
• Clean up debris from parking lot.
• Help customers locate their vehicles.
• Resolve parking lot disputes that occur between customers.
• Escort customers to their vehicles if needed.
• Assist patrons with calling cabs, ridesharing, or tow trucks
• Help patrons exit the parking area safely.
• Give directions to the nearest highway or destination
• Maintain a professional appearance, be polite and courteous.
• Being outside and visible for the duration of a scheduled shift
