Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fitting, adjusting, and recommending eyewear while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses based on their prescription, lifestyle, and preferences.
Provide accurate measurements and ensure proper fit and comfort of eyeglasses.
Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear maintenance.
Process orders, verify prescriptions, and communicate with labs for timely delivery.
Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear issues.
Maintain a clean and organized optical area.
Ensure compliance with all optical and health regulations.
Requirements:
Experience in an optical setting (preferred but not required).
Strong customer service and sales skills.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of insurance billing is a plus.
