Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leave contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to serve K-12 students across multiple schools in Eastern Colorado. This itinerant position offers a mix of onsite work and flexible remote options for paperwork, planning, and IEP meetings.

Location: Ramah, CO (Eastern Colorado region)
Duration: ASAP through 3/23/2026
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Caseload: Includes schools in Burlington, Limon, Flagler, Woodrow, Hugo, Anton, and Karval, with a total student caseload spread across various districts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Complete required documentation, assessments, and progress notes timely, with flexibility to work from home on paperwork and planning if preferred.
  • Travel between multiple school districts serving an itinerant caseload.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to special education services.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Colorado.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple schools effectively.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to provide occasional remote services if an in-person provider is not available by November 1st.
