Lakeshore Talent is looking for a Staff Accountant with a nonprofit located in Denver, CO. This position is 37.5 hours/week and able to work remotely on Fridays.

This is a direct hire job paying $70,000-$79,000/year, depending on experience

Position Summary: The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of financial data across all systems, with an emphasis upon journal entry, transaction recording, reconciliation, and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate transactions are recorded and reconciled between multiple accounting systems, including MIP accounting software, Blackbaud CRM, and investment accounts.
• Journal entry, debits, credits, and adjustments
• Accounts Payable & Receivable reconciliation
• Revenue reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Investment accounts reconciliation
• CRM data import and report processing
• Grant tracking
• Bill.com transaction verification

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on accounting.
• Relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems.
