Job Description

Overview The NFL is taking immediate and decisive steps to strengthen security across all League offices, events, and club locations worldwide. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of critical security enhancement initiatives. This role will be central to driving timely delivery of new safety measures, ensuring alignment with global best practices, and fostering collaboration across League departments, clubs, and external partners. This role offers the opportunity to play a direct and meaningful part in safeguarding NFL employees, players, fans, and facilities worldwide. Your work will translate into tangible, lasting improvements to our security posture, ensuring the NFL remains a safe environment for all who work in and visit our locations. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of coordination for all post-incident security action items, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, tracking milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Security, League leadership, club security teams, facilities, legal, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure security measures are implemented consistently across all locations.
  • Manage vendor relationships for security technology, equipment, and servicesoverseeing RFPs, contracting, and performance monitoring.
  • Establish reporting protocols to track progress, identify roadblocks, and ensure accountability across all workstreams.
  • Coordinate testing, drills, and training programs to validate readiness and build staff confidence in security protocols.
  • Maintain awareness of global security trends, compliance requirements, and industry best practices to inform decision-making.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, security management, or a related field; PMP or other project management certification strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projectsideally in corporate security, risk management, or facilities operations.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager. Related certifications (e.g., PMP, CRISC).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
  • Proven expertise with all aspects of IT/Security Operations strategic planning, portfolio/budget/resource/demand planning and management, IT governance, enterprise shared services, risk management, executive reporting, and communications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with executives, staff, vendors, and law enforcement/security agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and maintain momentum on high impact initiatives. Proven understanding of project management language and methodologies, tools, and techniques such as PMI (PMBOK), SCRUM, PRINCE2, et al.
  • Significant experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs. Ability to manage all aspects of large-scale implementations.
  • Knowledge of physical security systems, emergency preparedness, and/or crisis management best practices is a plus.
  • Analytical skills: outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, including taking the initiative to drive issues to effective resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and business executives.
