MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Superintendent Position Summary: Frazee D&J Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Superintendent to join our team in Hamilton, Bermuda. Immediate opportunity as the MEP Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within our hospitality renovation and construction projects. This includes planning, scheduling, and administration to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for hospitality renovation and construction projects. Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices for MEP systems. Review and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications to identify potential issues and provide appropriate solutions. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirements and address design issues. Supervise and mentor project team members, promoting professional development and ensuring proper training in MEP systems. Review project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track. Contribute to the development and refinement of best practices, processes, and procedures related to MEP systems within the company. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Proven experience as an MEP Superintendent or a similar role within the construction industry, preferably in hospitality projects. In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including relevant building codes and regulations. Familiarity with construction contracts, subcontracts, estimates, and quality control procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, able to effectively coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams. Ability to develop and maintain project schedules, manage budgets, and ensure timely project completion. Commitment to fostering a safe, productive, and professional work environment. Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet project demands. Ability to obtain work permit in Bermuda and relocate for project duration. The job will last approximately 12 months.
