*Marketing Consultant Front Store Marketing Raleigh, NC

This is a remote position however candidate must be located in the Raleigh-Durham market.
Interview Process: Interview with hiring manager; second round will be with 1 - 2 additional team members.
This role will contribute to the development of marketing solutions and campaigns for the Front Store Marketing team, with a concentration in the Price Value initiative in the Raleigh-Durham market. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert in the geographical region, including conducting local research and providing insights on how to maximize campaign reach and effectiveness. You will play a vital role in being a corporate liaison with local Client managers and colleagues on behalf of the campaign, motivating & influencing participation, coordinating communications and collecting feedback. This role will work closely with many cross-functional partners including marketing, merchandising, consumer insights, etc.

Duties:
Project Execution:
" Develops marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
" Provides information and commentary pertinent to campaign, recommends options and courses of action, and implements directives.
" Help develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs; boots-on-the-ground promotional support for marketing plans and programs
" Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data. Areas of research include marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing.
" Contributes to team effort by fostering ideas targeting the demographic data of the target audience

Build Collaborative Relationships:
" Maintains relations with local partnerships by organizing and developing specific programs
" Build and maintain key strategic relationships with external market data vendors.
" Work closely with Insights team to field customer research and apply learnings into actionable strategies

Consumer and Industry Insights:
" Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for Client.
" Proactively self-educate around retail and marketing industry trends to identify best practice opportunities for Client

Experience Required:
" Experience with product launches or integrated marketing campaigns.
" Working knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics.
" Highly detail-oriented, self-starter, independent worker with critical thinking skills
" Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, build relationships and lead cross-functional teams
" Strong PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
" 2-5 years previous work experience in Marketing or related field
" Deep knowledge of the Raleigh, NC market
" Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred
" This is a remote position, 6-month contract, but must be located in the Raleigh market for business needs

Position Summary:

This position will assist in the management of marketing efforts primarily for clients, but also includes initiatives with physicians, plan participants, and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Responsibilities will include assisting in the development of marketing initiatives for various disease states/therapies, development of collateral, assisting in promotional activities, etc.
