The marketing associate role is a 90-day introductory position that requires no previous experience but will provide you with the tools necessary to embark on a journey toward full-time working in marketing. It is a step higher than an internship, which aims to graduate associates into full-time marketing staff roles in the movement. This high-caliber position requires someone who is fast-paced, a self-starter, and eager to learn the ins and outs of marketing. As a marketing associate, you will work closely with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Specialist, the technology team, and members of the development team to create original content, manage marketing campaigns (emails, SMS, digital ads), write marketing material, and grow YAL's national presence online, on campus, and in communities. This position is an in-office role at Young Americans for Liberty Headquarters in Austin, TX. Responsibilities Create graphics for social media, emails, SMS marketing, and marketing materials Write copy for social media, video scripts, proposals, and other marketing materials Assist in video editing Set up camera and recording equipment Compile stories, talking points, and news for multi-channel marketing Track and report on topline metrics Help run YAL events on-site with mindfulness of the attendee experience How to apply: Please send the following items to peyton@yaliberty.org, including "Application - Marketing Associate" in the subject line.
