We are hiring for Maintenance Supervisor on our 1st shift.

You will report to the shift supervisor and join a team of 235 plus team member.

You will work onsite at our Food manufacturing plant is in Kent WA.

Job Summary

Oversee the maintenance department, production lines and affiliated equipment, building and grounds. Schedule work and personnel to meet production demands., maintain the preventative maintenance system and work toward meeting the plants safety and uptime goals. Control maintenance expenses by managing overtime and parts expenses weekly.

Position Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule employees, to control labor costs.
• Monitor downtime occurrences to maintain operations.
• Monitor the efficiencies of the production lines, paying special attention for maintenance and mechanical trends.
• Train, motivate and direct employees to follow safe work methods standards, food safety standards and promote team achieve our goals.
• Maintain a cooperative working relationship with USDA officials
• Purchase of supplies and repair parts with regard to quality
• Monitor the machinery and equipment to ensure safety of your team.
• Enforce the plant's safety program ensuring compliance to all OSHA safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain equipment for efficient operation within maintenance budget; operate within the USDA regulations
• Seek continuous improvement in the Maintenance Department employees and the efficiencies of the production lines.
• Assume full ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities/programs including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography. Knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals.
• Evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies to ensure optimum use of personnel and resources in maximizing equipment reliability.

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required, bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical engineering or other technical degree program
• 3 or more years of maintenance/supervisor experience

Compensation: 

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
