Position Details:
Full-time, 36-week school contract
Monday–Friday schedule (school hours)
Support a safe and healthy environment for students with acute and chronic medical needs
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals
Provide direct care for students including medication administration, first aid, and routine health screenings
Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and school regulations
Job Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed medications and monitor their effects
Assist with health care plans for students with special medical needs
Provide emergency care and assess student health conditions
Document all nursing services in accordance with state and district policies
Promote health education and wellness in the school community
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards
Qualifications:
Current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification
Previous experience working in pediatrics or school settings preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
