Type: Contract to Hire
Title: Insurance Services Professional
Pay Rate: $23-25/hour (with salary increase at conversion)
Location: Hybrid in Howell, MI (2-3 days per week on-site)
Schedule: Scheduled shift during business hours (7AM-9:30PM) + rotating Saturday (9AM-5PM)
Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls and provide consultive services to customers
Educate and offer personal lines/P&C products for customer insurance needs
Provide accurate insurance advice through research and established guidelines
Interpret and verify coverages and relevant data
Provide quotes to policyholders
Review incoming correspondence, request needed details, and draft responses
Process policy changes/issuance transactions online via various channels
Follow through on all billing adjustments and changes
Qualifications:
Active Property & Casualty License or Personal Licenses Producer License
2+ years of experience in PL or P&C industry; Call center experience a plus
Bachelor's Degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
Experience offering and closing on needs-based coverages or line of business opportunities
Strong customer service, communication/collaboration + multitasking skills
Positive + adaptable with the ability to overcome obstacles and make informed decisions
Proficiency with virtual tools (Avaya, NICE, POS systems)
