Urgently hiring Aerospace Leadership Instructors!

Are you passionate about teaching and eager to make an impact in the aerospace industry? Spherion is looking for a motivated Instructor at a large aerospace facility in Everett and other locations ! Our Instructor will work within the Training Department, playing a key part in delivering engaging training programs on aerospace-related topics.

As an Instructor, you will deliver existing content centered on aerospace manufacturing systems . Your responsibilities include leading practical demonstrations to empower aerospace employees with essential skills and knowledge for their success. Furthermore, you will evaluate their progress to guarantee effective learning results.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to teach a variety of aerospace courses. This role involves providing training in several key areas, including electrical installations, mechanical skills, sealant application, and environmental health and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive lesson plans and training materials in accordance with industry standards and educational best practices
• Provide both theoretical and practical instruction, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with relevant tools and equipment
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations, offering constructive feedback to facilitate improvement
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of education provided
• Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment, adhering to all institutional and industry safety protocol

Instruct students in various aerospace subjects, including but not limited to:

1. Electrical Instructor

• Electrical Aircraft installations and assemble work
• Electrical Functional Test troubleshooting
• Electrical crimping
• Electrical soldering
• Basic mechanical skills

2. Aerospace Mechanical Skills Instructor

• Electrical installations, Bonding & Grounding
• Aircraft assembly, Heavy Structure Drilling, and/or Maintenance
• Blueprints, productions standards, and/or Functional Test
• Aircraft systems operations, familiarization, and troubleshooting

3. Aerospace Seal Instructor

• Experience in the application of Aircraft Sealant application
• Clean and apply a sealant to aircraft components

4. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Instructor

• Experience in Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Tryout (LOTTO), DOT, and Fall Protection

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to instruct technical courses in the Aerospace industry
• Manage basic technology to deliver training
• Prior experience working for an aerospace company is desired

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Prior teaching or instructional experience is a plus but not required
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Flexibility to work across shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and travel within a geographic area ranging from Everett to Puyallup

Mileage reimbursement is available for qualifying commutes beyond the nearest work location.
