Sales Designer – Kitchen & Bath | JW Metal Cabinets

JW Metal Cabinets is looking for a Sales Designer with a strong background in kitchen and bath design, exceptional sales acumen, and a sharp eye for functional, high-end spaces. This role is critical in guiding clients from initial consultation through final design approval and into production. Ideal candidates will be comfortable qualifying customers, managing expectations, and delivering tailored design solutions that align with our premium stainless steel and aluminum cabinetry systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients—from qualification through design and into production handoff.
• Design custom indoor and outdoor kitchen layouts using 2020 Design, Cyncly Design Flex, or equivalent software with consideration for JW Metal Cabinets’ capabilities and product line.
• Evaluate client needs, style preferences, site requirements, and budgets to provide strategic and practical design solutions.
• Develop detailed drawings, photo-realistic renderings, and accurate quotes that align with scope and product specifications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and operations to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
• Build lasting relationships with homeowners, contractors, and dealers to support long-term sales growth and referrals.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of proven experience in kitchen and bath design, with a portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficient in 2020 Design, Cyncly Design Flex, or similar CAD tools.
• Strong sales orientation with the ability to qualify and close customers based on project fit and readiness.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate customer ideas into actionable designs.
• Experience working with both residential and commercial clients.
• Familiarity with outdoor kitchen design, metal cabinetry systems, or high-end appliance integration is a strong advantage.
