Job Overview
The ideal candidate is passionate about design. You can listen and understand someone's ideas/vision and translate them into a creative, beautiful, bespoke jewelry design. You understand and appreciate fine jewels. You have the technical know-how and ability to work with production and master bench jeweler teams to bring designs to life. You take direction and input well – leaving your ego at the door.

What You W ill Do

• Conceptualize new designs and collections. Illustrate and sketch ideas to present to senior leadership
• Produce sketches of designs and concepts of fine jewelry based on customer requests and requirements
• Take the design from a rough concept through a workable, technical rendering that a model maker can follow to create a sample
• Use of creativity to apply unique aspects to jewelry design
• Ability to generate a design from scratch and draw at all points of execution
• Track and monitor custom design projects from inception to customer delivery
• Use design skills combined with knowledge of the brand aesthetic to expand on initial design concepts to round out collections
• Work directly with other designers to elaborate and expand on their design concepts

What You Will Bring

• You have experience with high jewelry composition including gemstones, diamonds, and metals
• You have luxury jewelry and bespoke design experience
• You can hand sketch designs in a timely manner
• You are practical with the ability to design with engineering and production in mind
• You can interpret and re-imagine designs to take the brand to the next level
• You have a strong sense of high fashion
• You pride yourself on your ability to communicate with the team, colleagues, and leadership directly
• You are highly motivated and believe in delivering remarkable
• You work well under pressure
• Having experience with cost analysis, advanced rendering skills and technical knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and materials is a plus

Pay Transparency
Targeted base compensation range is $35 an hour plus an annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
