Sr. Analyst – Consumer Investment Banking (M&A)

Location: New York City

The Opportunity

Our client, a rapidly expanding investment banking platform, is seeking a Investment Banking Senior Analyst to join its Consumer Coverage team in New York City. This is a high-impact role offering immediate exposure to complex Consumer M&A transactions and direct collaboration with senior bankers across the firm.

What You’ll Do

• Execute sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions for leading and emerging Consumer companies & Brands.
• Manage key workstreams including due diligence, valuation, modeling, and client deliverables.
• Develop deep sector expertise across Multi-Site Consumer, Pharmacies, Food & Grocery, Consumer Health, Retail, and related areas.
• Support business development initiatives and pitch execution alongside senior team members.
• Interface directly with clients and investors throughout all phases of the transaction process.

What You Bring

• 1–3 years of investment banking experience, ideally with a focus on M&A.
• Strong analytical, valuation, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage client relationships confidently.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to excel in a lean, fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
