Who You Are

We are looking for an organized manager who can produce high-quality work while maintaining strong relationships with our current clients on an international level. The ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions, and take initiative while staying focused on results and the performance objectives of this job is a must. Staff development skills, the ability to lead a team of professionals by example, while also possessing solid time management skills, are important as well. This person could be a clear path of promotion, even to a partner level, based on the skills and experience they bring to the team. This role will ideally work with our tax leadership in Austin, Texas. But this person can also be in Houston, Dallas, or Salt Lake City.

Required Experience and Skills

• CPA highly preferred
• Bachelor's in Accounting/Masters in Taxation highly preferred
• 7+ years of public accounting experience with a heavy focus in international income tax preparation/review for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations
• 2 years in a management position
• Comprehensive understanding of tax law on an international scale
• Strong review skills of 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041 returns
• Strong tax research experience and skills with diverse clientele on an international basis
• Strong communication skills, especially with clients
• STRONG technical abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to grow practice
• Willingness to work > 40 hours per week during tax season
• Ability to supervise and train professional staff
