Job Description

Are you passionate about travel? Do you love to plan trips in detail? Are you super organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator? Is making a meaningful impact on people's lives important to you? Are you Christian, and is your faith important to you? Select International Tours, a trusted leader in faith-based group travel with 38 years of experience, seeks a Group Travel Planner to join our dynamic team in Flemington, NJ. As a Group Travel Planner, you'll be the driving force behind unforgettable pilgrimage experiences, working with prominent Catholic leaders to organize journeys to some of the most sacred Catholic sites worldwide. From the first conversation with a client to the final moments of the trip, you will be at the heart of delivering life-changing experiences. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is dedicated to excellence, this is the opportunity for you. What You'll Do:

  • Plan & Execute: Coordinate every detail of complex international group trips, ensuring each journey is seamless from start to finish.
  • Communicate: Build relationships with clients, suppliers, and travelers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions, consistently delivering exceptional service.
  • Negotiate & Manage: Handle booking airline space and negotiating pricing contracts. Liaison with our international travel suppliers and partners to create the best possible experience for our clients.
  • Oversee Itineraries: Manage and fine-tune detailed itineraries for multiple groups simultaneously, including unique river cruises and pilgrimages.
  • Be the Go-To Person: Serve as clients' primary point of contact, especially when they travel, ensuring everything runs smoothly (with occasional evening and weekend availability).
  • Travel: Embark on annual international trips (10-12 days) for site inspections, FAM trips, or to accompany groups.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: A strong background in the travel industry, especially in group travel, cruise planning, account management, or demonstrated transferable skills.
  • Skills: A master multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, a collaborative drive, and dedication to excellence.
  • Customer Service Focused: Experience in direct customer service is a plus
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
  • Passion for Travel: A love for organizing trips that allow people to experience their faith in powerful ways.
  • Availability to Travel: Willingness to travel internationally (passport required).
Why You'll Love Working with Us:
  • Competitive Salary & Incentive Bonus: We recognize and reward hard work.
  • Generous Benefits: Paid sick days, vacation time, and international travel perks.
  • A Collaborative Environment: Join a close-knit team where your contributions genuinely matter.
  • The Opportunity to Make a Difference: Help bring transformative, faith-filled experiences to thousands of people.
This full-time, on-site position is based in Flemington, NJ, starting on March 03, 2025.
