Express Employment is looking for a Hydraulic Mechanic. This position requires a minimum of 5 - 10 years of current experience.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $25-$45/Hour DOE

Location: Chico, Ca

Job Description:

• Each assigned job must be fully disassembled to ensure a thorough inspection of the units undergoing repair
• Record all parts, labor, machine work, freight, model numbers, and notes legibly on the work order for every repair
• Ensure all parts associated with job have labels on them
• Quote repairs
• Perform diagnostics for repairs 
• Record parts pulled from inventory for all repair jobs
• Clean up all and any messes that were made during repair after the job is done
• Clean up any and all oil spills immediately upon discovery
• Record stages of progress on all jobs 
• Ensure you are attentive to all customers and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain, repair, and install hydraulic systems and equipment
• Create work orders for all jobs received 
• Inventory checks
• Closing up shop at the end of the day
• Comply with Safety Policies, Procedures, and Programs
• Follow all relevant Procedures and Work Instructions to ensure all job duties are understood
• Perform effective communication with all co-workers as needed
• Monitor shop for any misplaced items 
• Contact customers on a regular basis to ensure quality customer relations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 - 10 years of current experience
• Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
• Must understand hydraulic symbols and schematics
• Must be able to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic testing equipment
• Must have mechanical knowledge
• Must be able to use computers and other technologies to diagnose and repair hydraulic equipment
• Ability to prioritize on the spot and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
