Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient Hematology/Oncology settings under physician supervision.• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage care for oncology and hematology patients.• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor treatment response.• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and ongoing care.• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to coordinate patient-centered care.• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Illinois.• Certification as an Adult-Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner (AGNP/FNP) required.• Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred; new graduates with oncology RN background may be considered.• BLS and ACLS certifications required.• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.• Bilingual skills are a plus, especially in Spanish or Ukrainian.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
