We are seeking a capable professional to join our team as a Furniture Installer. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading the truck, installing furniture according to the directions you receive, and assembling items on-site. You will also help prep the job site and clean up after the installation is complete. All applicants must have the physical ability to load and unload furniture items from the delivery truck. You must also have a current drivers license to drive the truck from our warehouse to various job locations and be able to pass a Statewide background clearance.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Load and unload the truck
• Install furniture according to blueprints or job tickets
• Mount cabinets and bookshelves
• Prep and clean up the job site
• Assemble furniture as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace

• Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
• Solid communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow routine written and verbal instructions
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Gracefully handle difficult situations/customers/teammates
• Remain respectful of property and professional space
• Ability to safely operate a large moving truck
• Basic understanding of manual and power hand tools

Conditions of Employment:

• Must be at least 21 years of age (18 for seasonal employment)
• Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable DMV record
• High school diploma or GED

Working Conditions/Physical Effort:

• Flexibility. Hours will vary (can be very long) and may include weekends and overnight travel
• Stamina to lift heavy items (100+ lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. without accommodation

Work involves some exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises
