Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the Job

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company building the world’s most comprehensive startup discovery engine.

This is a unique opportunity to work on products that power decision-making for some of the largest venture capital firms in the world.

As a key member of a small, high-performing team, you’ll collaborate with Product and Design to build, launch, and scale products that help investors find and fund the next generation of groundbreaking companies.

You’ll have full ownership of your work across the stack and play a central role in shaping the company’s product direction and technical foundations.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in New York City (3 days in office per week) .

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build, scale, and maintain features across the stack, using TypeScript, React, Python, dbt, Postgres, Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to execute the company’s product vision and enhance customer experience

• Translate complex customer needs into powerful, intuitive features that help users discover startups faster and more effectively

• Work on all layers of the system — from frontend interfaces to backend data pipelines and cloud infrastructure

• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other technical challenges

• Take ownership of your work, iterate quickly, and ship high-quality software that drives measurable business results

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience in fast-paced, high-performing environments

• Solid experience with TypeScript , React , and Python

• Experience working with databases (Postgres preferred) and cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS)

• Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and data modeling

• Proven ability to execute independently, take initiative, and ship high-impact features quickly

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Startup experience preferred — candidates with purely enterprise backgrounds must demonstrate exceptional achievement or aptitude

• Stable career trajectory with limited short stints (no more than one role under two years without strong justification)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dbt , Elasticsearch , or Terraform

• Exposure to data products or analytics-driven applications

• Background in early-stage or growth-stage technology companies
