Location: San Francisco, CA (Near Salesforce Tower) Employment Type: Full-time On-site: 5 days a week in-person

Our client is an AI startup building foam , a cutting-edge tool designed to be the highest-signal solution for solving software bugs. They've raised $2.4M from notable investors and are focused on making engineering jobs more engaging by automating the debugging process.

They are seeking a Full Stack Product Engineer —a generalist who is comfortable wearing all the hats . In addition to classical full-stack work (from CSS to the database level), you will be expected to increase the general intelligence of the platform by designing and implementing cutting-edge AI product features .

• Serve as a generalist engineer, comfortable working across the entire stack.
• Build cutting-edge AI product features , including writing advanced prompts, building custom Generative AI tools, and applying the latest AI techniques.
• Work on core writing tools, system & user prompts, and general intelligence/denoising capabilities for the platform.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Gen AI techniques, tools, and research (blogs, videos) that can be immediately applied to the product.
• Work closely with users (internal or external) to quickly iterate on features.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a full-stack engineer.
• Demonstrated interest in the AI space and excitement about Generative AI.
• Experience working closely with users (internal or external).
• Startup experience is required.

• Experience building code generation tools, AI agents, and production-level RAG systems without using frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
• Experience with the core tech stack: React, AWS, MongoDB, TypeScript, NextJS, Vercel .

Benefits

• Salary: $140K - $190K
• Equity: 0.25% - 2%
• Visa Sponsorship: No H1B sponsorship; TN is acceptable but not preferred; valid work permits are acceptable.
