About the Role:
Join Surfaceone Inc as a Freight Broker Sales Representative and leverage your existing book of business to drive success! We are seeking dynamic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about connecting clients with top-notch freight solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage relationships with shippers and carriers to facilitate freight movement.
Utilize your established book of business to generate new sales opportunities.
Negotiate rates and contracts to maximize profitability and service quality.
Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that arise during shipping.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions in our CRM system.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Freight Broker with a strong book of business.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Proficient in using freight brokerage software and CRM tools.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
