What you will do

This role will be located in Westbrook, Maine and service Westbrook, Maine. Under

direct supervision and using established standards for Programming, Testing, and inspecting Fire Alarm, CCTV, and Security systems. Provide detailed reports of the system operations to customers, consultants, our design team and subcontractors. Responds to basic warranty calls.

How you will do it

  • Performs programming for Fire Alarm systems, CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Systems using brand specific software and Code requirements.
  • Perform the installation of small Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and intrusion systems using the proper codes.
  • Assists in the programming and commissioning of all systems as required. Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
  • Gathers field changes from the project team and creates as-built drawings and software. Prepares proper documentation and/or manuals for system operation.
  • Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
  • Assist in Scheduling projects with our customers.
  • Assists in performing site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system.
  • Completes paperwork including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
  • Adheres to safety standards. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.

What we look for

Required

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with installing and/or commissioning Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Security systems.
  • Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than his/her start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding, he/she from receiving the vaccine.

Preferred

  • Maine Electrical License preferred but will consider four years of electrical experience with training.
  • Fire Alarm NICET II
