Description: Description: Safely operate grain handling equipment and maintain production in the Grain Elevator to blend mixes used in Ardent's Flour Milling Operation. Qualifications: The following list of qualifications is not intended to be complete, but should serve as a guide to candidates interested in this position. A.) Must be capable to learn and safely operate the grain handling tasks in the grain elevator. Must perform such tasks as: Unloading grain, blending grain, moving rail cars with remote controlled shuttle wagon, simple maintenance and lubrication tasks. B.) Elevator operators will also be required to train on locomotive operations and be qualified to move railcars. C.) Must be able to complete and maintain the necessary records (create and complete blend sheets, update database inventories, rail/truck loading/unloading data, process efficiency data and other as required). Operators will also be required to train/qualify on scale operations and generate one-weigh tickets for customers. D.) Must maintain high levels of safety and sanitation performance in and around the grain elevators and other areas as assigned. E.) Will be required to maintain areas as assigned to meet or exceed Food Protection audit requirements (FPA). F.) Be able to write work orders for repairs or deficiencies in the elevator. G.) Will be required to maintain qualifications as dictated by Employee Classification Procedures (ECP's). H.) Must have a working knowledge of and ability to use computers, scales, operate control board, blend grain, etc. I.) Must be able to meet qualifications as listed in ECP's within 90 training days.
