Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Electrical Superintendent to oversee large-scale electrical projects and ensure their successful completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality. This position requires managing crews, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, local codes, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct all on-site electrical work, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Supervise and mentor foremen, electricians, and apprentices, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Develop and implement project schedules, coordinating with other trades and subcontractors to optimize workflow.
• Enforce compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and local building codes.
• Conduct site inspections, safety meetings, and quality control checks to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during project execution.
• Manage procurement of materials and tools, ensuring availability for project needs.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, engineers, and stakeholders to provide progress updates and address concerns.
• Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, workforce schedules, and job site conditions.
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician license (as required by state or local jurisdiction).
• Minimum of 8 years of electrical experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial, industrial electrical systems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
