• The driver needs to drive long-distance and neighboring states to deliver packages to customers.
• Must load and unload freight and record cargo deliveries
• Ensure the trailer is hitched properly and attached securely to the tractor unit
• Pick up packages and organize them in a logical manner
• Ensure the packages are properly secured inside the truck to prevent damage
• Follow traffic rules and accident procedures
• Inspect the vehicle and examine problems and report them to the dispatcher
• Clean the vehicle daily and refuel
• Keep activity log and log hours and report mechanical issues to the maintenance department
• Plan various route using a GPS system or an advanced navigation system
• Deliver goods to the client promptly and maintain a friendly attitude with customer

• Require high school diploma/GED
• Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experienced driving heavy trucks and van
• More than 3 years of proven experience driving a tractor-trailer
• Must be 21 years of age
• Physically fit enough to lift 50 pounds
• Great time management skill and communication skill
• Proficient using GPS and other navigation systems
• Able to drive for an extended period of time
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
