The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. Job Summary:

In this position, the Director of Housekeeping will work closely with the General Manager, the Front Office Manager, the Revenue Manager and the Director of Facilities, to ensure the sleeping rooms and public areas adhere to Marriott’s standards of cleanliness and maintenance. We will strive to meet our guests’ expectations of a welcoming lobby and an immaculate and inviting room every time they visit us. The qualified individual will accomplished this by conducting regular inspections of the hotel rooms and public areas and conducting proper training and development of the housekeeping and laundry personnel with an eye toward maximum employee satisfaction, productivity and guest satisfaction. Manage payroll and operating expenses to minimize costs while providing excellent guest services. Coordinate department's maintenance program as well as activities with other departments to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Associate degree preferred. Minimum three (3) years Housekeeping in a Hotel or Hospital in a Supervisory role. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must speak and write fluent English. Multilingual in Spanish and/or Mandarin a plus

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually.
