Progressive Comprehensive Services is seeking professional, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to serve our clients in our Morris County center located in Cedar Knolls NJ. We welcome creative minds that would like to share a talent, skill, or hobby with our clients.

Job details

We currently have both full and part time positions available.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide instruction and guidance for our Clients during skills building sessions.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote and facilitate learning and growth as per the client’s outcomes.
• Assist Clients with activities of daily living, personal care and hygiene as needed.
• Record keeping in compliance with PCS, DDD and other governmental organizations.
• Comply with all Agency and DDD policies and procedures.
• Assist with community outings such as trips to local parks, stores, theaters, and more.
• Complete new hire and annual trainings as required by the state of New Jersey.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Work on special assignments as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Eligible for employment in the United States and the State of New Jersey
• Motivated to work as part of a team that always acts in the best interest of our clients.
• At least eighteen years of age, having attained a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is a plus but not required.
• A demonstrated employment record of stability, increasing responsibility.
• Experience with ID/DD population is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.

Owner and CEO Neeta Das has over 35 years of experience working in this field providing opportunities to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness to live meaningful, independent, and integrated lives in the community.
