GoldLeaf Print & Packaging is looking for a digital print machine operator. This member will work with a variety of departments to deliver high quality finished packaging products to a wide variety of industries including cosmetics, food and beverage, cannabis, pet supplies, etc.

Job hours are 8am-5pm M-F, with some opportunity for, and occasional mandatory, overtime hours.

A general machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery in a production environment, ensuring efficient production by following standard operating procedures, monitoring machine performance, and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality output while adhering to safety guidelines. Tasks may include feeding raw materials, inspecting finished products, and performing basic maintenance checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:
• Setting up machines according to specifications, feeding raw materials, monitoring production processes, and adjusting machine settings as necessary.
• Quality Control:
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying and reporting defects.
• Maintenance:
• Performing routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting to prevent downtime.
• Safety Compliance:
• Following all safety protocols and reporting any hazards or malfunctions.
• Documentation:
• Maintaining production records and reporting any issues with equipment or production processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Some experience in a mechanical environment
• Basic math skills to calculate measurements
• Attention to detail and ability to identify current/potential quality issues
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
• Physical ability to lift and handle materials as needed
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs

Some experience in a print/production environment preferred but not required. We are looking for a competent machine operator with a positive attitude and desire to be a part of a small, tight-knit team.
