Crucial Link is hiring in Strongsville on 1st and 2nd shift for a Die Repair Technician!

Job Title: Die Repair Technician
Location: Strongsville, OH

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (4x10s)

Pay: $24 – $34/hr, based on experience
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Eligible for Raise & Benefits Upon Hire

Must be willing to submit to a Nationwide Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Test.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled Die Repair Technicians to join our team in Strongsville, OH. These hands-on roles involve the repair, maintenance, and modification of stamping dies to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime in a high-production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair progressive and transfer stamping dies
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble dies using appropriate hand tools and machinery
• Perform die maintenance, sharpening, and component replacement as needed
• Read blueprints, tool designs, and specifications to ensure accuracy
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve die performance
• Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in die repair or tool & die maintenance preferred
• Strong understanding of stamping die construction and press operations
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and die drawings
• Experience using surface grinders, mills, lathes, and other shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
