About the RoleYou will be a data engineer who plays a critical role in supporting Gemineyes clients. This position blends deep technical skills in data engineering with direct client interaction. Youll maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines, while also ensuring client-reported issues are resolved quickly and effectively. Youll have real responsibility, real impact, and a great team to grow with.What Youll DoMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines in Databricks using SQL and PySparkTroubleshoot and resolve client data issues, collaborating with engineers and Service Delivery ManagersAnalyze root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutionsSupport Power BI developers with well-structured data models for reportingPartner with clients to understand technical problems and translate them into solutionsDocument fixes, enhancements, and best practices for both internal and client useContribute to process and product improvements based on client feedbackMust-haves in a CandidateStrong SQL skills and proficiency with Databricks or similar data platformsExperience with data pipeline development, Python, ETL/ELT, and medallion architecturesSolid understanding of data modeling principles (fact/dim tables, performance optimization)Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues for end users or clientsStrong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiencesProven ability to work independently while supporting collaborative problem-solvingNice to Have in a CandidateFamiliarity with credit union or banking systems (e.g., Symitar, Temenos, MeridianLink, general ledger)Experience supporting Power BI data models and DAX logicExperience working in client-facing or professional services rolesYou Thrive Here If YouEnjoy solving challenging data engineering problems while supporting clientsCommunicate clearly and professionally with both technical and business stakeholdersAre comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environmentTake ownership of problems and drive them to resolutionValue collaboration, but can self-direct when neededDetailsMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipFully remote position within the US; occasional travel (less than ten percent) for team or client meetings
