Job Title: Coatings ForemanJob Description

Under minimal supervision, perform routine and preventative maintenance, industrial coatings duties, and a full range of specialized painting projects including painting large structures in corrosive environments. Perform site inspections, manage field teams, and operate various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot various equipment including surface preparation tools, airless and conventional sprayers, air compressors, and dryers.
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage and maintain job site materials and supplies to ensure projects run efficiently.
• Ensure the safety standards are maintained in all duties and adhere to company safety policies.
• Maintain good condition and organization of company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Lead and manage a crew of 2-6 members, fostering an environment of trust and teamwork.
• Participate in job-related training and development to improve skills.
• Monitor atmospheric conditions to ensure proper application of coatings.
• Use and navigate scaffold/lifts/staging, and operate boom lifts, fork trucks, and skid steers.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of industrial coatings experience.
• Ability to lead a 2-6 person crew.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic lifts at various heights over 30 feet.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel weekly within a 3-4 hour radius.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with industrial painting and coatings.
• Supervisory or management experience in a similar setting.
• Willingness to learn to use/navigate scaffold/lifts/staging.

Work Environment

The role is based out of Poseyville, with daily travel to various customer job sites that include a range of industrial and commercial environments. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Poseyville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr.
