This position is located in the Social Work Department of the Veterans Home of California-Chula Vista and is responsible for providing social work services to residents with mental, physical, or developmental disabilities.

Working Conditions

Employees of CalVet will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a(n) Licensed Clinical Social Worker License. You will be required to provide a copy of your license prior to being hired.

Successful completion of a live scan and a pre-employment physical (including drug testing for certain civil service classifications) will be required.

A complete application package includes: a STD. 678, Valid License. 

If your eligibility requires that you meet the Minimum Qualifications of the class and you qualify under pattern requiring education, then the selected candidate will be required to provide college transcripts prior to appointment .
