Job Description
Job Summary:
We're looking for a dependable Class C Truck Driver to join our team. You'll be responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods or people on set routes. We need someone who is serious about safety, great with customers, and understands all the trucking rules. You'll play a key role in keeping our customers happy and our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Safely drive Class C trucks, following all traffic laws and company rules.
Check your truck before and after each trip and report any problems.
Load and unload items carefully, making sure they're secure so they don't get damaged.
If you're driving passengers, make sure they have a safe and comfortable ride on your route.
Keep accurate records like driver logs and mileage, and any other needed paperwork.
Talk clearly with dispatch, your supervisors, and customers about deliveries or any issues.
Follow all federal and state trucking regulations, including how many hours you can drive.
Provide excellent customer service, always being professional and polite.
Plan your routes efficiently to meet deadlines and save on fuel.
Handle all paperwork and collect payments accurately if needed.
Report any accidents or tickets right away.
Keep your truck clean and tidy.
Qualifications:
You need a valid Class C Driver's License
At least [X] years of proven commercial driving experience.
A clean driving record with no major accidents or tickets.
Ability to pass a physical exam and drug test.
Good understanding of trucking rules and safety practices.
Great at managing your time and staying organized.
Can read maps and use GPS.
Good at talking with people.
Able to lift and move heavy items if the job requires it.
You must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work on your own.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or longer shifts if necessary.
