Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess the technical skills necessary for tree trimming and maintenance. This role involves climbing trees to perform various tasks related to tree care, ensuring the health and aesthetics of landscapes. The Tree Climber will work closely with a team to deliver high-quality services while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

• Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees.
• Perform large tree removals
• Operate bucket trucks safely for high-access maintenance tasks.
• Utilize rigging techniques to lower branches safely and efficiently.
• Assist in growing and nurturing new plants as part of landscape enhancement projects.
• Collaborate with team members to execute landscape projects effectively.
• Snow removal is an expected part of this role in the off season

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tree climbing is required
• Familiarity with bucket operation and bucket truck usage is essential.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and gardening techniques.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols when working at heights or operating machinery.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to tree care and landscaping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
