Job Description

B&S Contracting, an established asphalt contractor, is seeking a  CDL Truck Driver (Class B)  for our Staunton location.

Candidate must be able to operate a tandem-rear axle truck that may have auxiliary or pony axle assembly for transporting construction materials. Must be able to drive a manual transmission truck. May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment, and other related duties including, but not limited to, pre-trips, logs, and operating a stock truck.

Requires a commercial driver’s license with proper endorsement to operate vehicle. This is local deliveries only.

Must have previous experience of at least two years with similar or same equipment machinery required. High school diploma or GED required. Must possess and be able to provide copy of clean driving record. No overnight travel – shifts may run from 6:30am-8:30pm, including night work, dependent upon projects, season of year, etc.
