An experienced Electrophysiologist is sought to join Indiana University Health's growing cardiology team in Fort Wayne, Indiana, offering a mix of inpatient and outpatient care with APP support. This full-time position in a new hospital opening in 2027 provides an autonomous practice environment with comprehensive benefits and a strong referral base. The role requires board certification, fellowship training in electrophysiology, and Indiana medical licensure with opportunities for professional growth and community engagement.

This lucrative and foundational position is part of IU Health's strategic growth plan. Partner with a robust primary care referral base; in a catchment area over 375,000, to build your successful practice. Enjoy an autonomous practice with APP support, in IUHealth’s newest hospital location, scheduled to open its doors in 2027. *We are looking for a start date of fall 2026.*

Position Details:

  • Full-time employment (Monday throughFriday)
  • A mix of inpatient and outpatient work
  • Flexibility as we build and shape this new facility
  • Practice locations; 10101 Ernst Road, Roanoke, Indiana and 4105 Dicke Rd, Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection and onboarding of colleagues in a variety of Cardiology specialties; Non-Invasive/General, Interventional and Electrophysiology

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be Board Certified
  • Fellowship training required in Electrophysiology
  • Ability to acquire Indiana license
  • Open to both new graduates and practicing physicians
