Key Responsibility:

• Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and contract compliance, including managing Minmax and stocking programs.
• Material Planning and Purchasing: Oversee the planning and purchasing of materials to support production, including creating deviations, implementing ECOs, and expediting parts as necessary.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor adherence to the material plan, proactively addressing issues to mitigate risks and ensure customer requirements and inventory targets are met.
• Advanced Planning Tools: Utilize advanced planning tools to model, simulate, and release optimized material plans, and develop, plan, and implement the master schedule.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineering, sourcing, production control, manufacturing assembly, receiving, logistics, quality, IT, and accounts payable to support New Product Development and improve forecast processes.

What we are looking for:

• Analytical and Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in successful negotiations.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes and production control systems.
• Problem Solving: Ability to manage changing priorities and resolve conflicts effectively.
• ERP Systems: Proficient in ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• LEAN Principles: Familiarity with Kaizen and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in shop operations, production planning, inventory management, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.

Work Scheule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $30.00-$35.00/hour
