Bilingual Japanese Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable to ensure smooth financial operations
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for company activities
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions efficiently
• Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries to ensure accuracy
• Support the accounting team during month-end and year-end closing processes
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and colleagues in both English and Japanese
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis as required
• Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as needed to support the department

Bilingual Japanese Accounting Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus
• Fluent in both English and Japanese (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Excel is required; familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High level of integrity and professionalism
