About the Role: Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking an
Azure Data Engineer with
2+ years of hands-on Azure experience to join our growing team. Our data team supports a wide range of internal customers including Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales by delivering scalable, secure, and high-impact data solutions.
What You'll Do: As an
Azure Data Engineer , a typical day might include the following:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory , Azure SQL , Azure Data Lake , Azure Stream Analytics , and Power BI Premium .
- Work with on-premises tools such as SQL Server , SSIS , and SSAS to integrate legacy systems with modern cloud solutions.
- Design normalized relational and/or dimensional data models for OLTP and OLAP systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement enterprise reporting models.
- Administer and optimize our data solutions for performance, scalability and reliability.

Pay Range Data: Associate Data Engineer, $84,240 - $124,461. Data Engineer, $97,740 - $144,460 Lead Data Engineer, $115,290 - $170,349. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
