Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join their client's team in Minnesota. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can handle various responsibilities related to vehicle titling and registration. The ideal candidate will be proficient in titling software and have a keen understanding of state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle the processing and titling of new and used vehicles, both in-state and out-of-state, using VITU, MNDrive, or local DMV platforms.
• Proactively track and resolve title discrepancies by following up with banks, DMVs, lienholders, and dealership staff to gather necessary documents.
• Oversee the distribution of titles for wholesale vehicle transactions.
• Maintain orderly title and Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) records to ensure compliance and audit-readiness.
• File completed transactions once titling is finalized.
• Review and reconcile titling-related accounts and schedules.
• Prepare and submit daily reports summarizing titling activities to the DMV.
• Process and issue refund checks for customers when applicable.
• Stay informed on state and federal regulations regarding vehicle titling and registration.
• Provide support to finance managers, customers, and dealership leadership on titling-related matters.
• Track and manage plate inventory, ensuring adequate stock for the finance team.
• Ensure titling documents are notarized when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in vehicle titling, registration, or DMV processing is preferred.
• Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with titling software (such as VITU) and DMV systems.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills.

Knowledge of accounting processes related to vehicle sales is a plus.

Competitive pay ranging from $23 to $27 per hour.

Full Benefits

Monday through Friday, first shift.

100% onsite in Saint Paul
