Owen Ford Jarratt is seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to oversee the daily operations of our parts department. This position plays a key role in supporting both our customers and service technicians while ensuring smooth inventory management, vendor relations, and profitability. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of dealership parts operations, particularly within the Ford OEM system. What We Offer * Competitive pay based on experience and performance * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) plan with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Life insurance and employee vehicle purchase program * Supportive, family-oriented dealership culture Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage all aspects of the parts department to ensure efficiency and profitability * Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and special orders to maintain proper availability and cost management * Maintain strong relationships with Ford OEM vendors and suppliers * Accurately price, order, and receive parts through dealership management systems (DMS) * Track and manage returns, cores, and warranty documentation * Support the service department by providing timely parts assistance for repair orders * Monitor and reduce obsolete inventory in accordance with dealership and industry standards * Supervise and train parts team members, promoting collaboration and accountability * Analyze department performance, control expenses, and develop improvement strategies * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment Qualifications * Minimum 3 years of experience in an automotive dealership parts department (management or assistant management experience preferred) * Familiarity with Ford OEM systems and dealership management software * Proven ability to manage inventory and cost controls effectively * Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills * Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record About Owen Ford Jarratt Owen Ford Jarratt is a trusted local dealership committed to providing exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships with both customers and employees.
