This Position is for a Product Manger in the Packaged Food Industry Not Software.

Key Responsibilities (Top 5-6)

• Walmart/Sam’s Private Label New Item Setup and Packaging Artwork Routing
• Development, coordination, implementation, maintenance of artwork/package designs.
• Maintain product and packaging specification files in the Loftware system and Walmart/Sam’s Product Management Portals. Lead and participate in artwork approval routing.
• Work directly with Walmart/Sam’s buying depts. (Grocery, Produce, Snacks), Broker partners, other CPG members, and internal departments on improving existing product lines and developing new products using best practices within Mariani capabilities and procedures.
• Ongoing product maintenance: create and update product costing, material revisions, forecast & projections, and updating of price lists for Walmart & Sam’s.
• Conduct product costings as required on existing products, new products based on commodity and competitor product changes
• Responsible for Walmart/Sam’s related administrative duties including but not limited to, customer feedback, sustainability, specifications, audits, quality, and management of Mariani Team collaboration to support the success of Walmart, Inc.
• Partner with the Major Accounts Manager (Sales) in development and in presenting compelling PowerPoint presentations; Business Reviews; on-going sales analysis to the customer
• Interface with Major Accounts Manager and Broker partners on product sales trends, competitive analysis and identifying sales opportunities.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related CPG Sales & Marketing experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Packaging Development Experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with Walmart /Sam’s Systems: Retail Link, Prospec, Hive, eHalo, Luminate, & Madrid is preferred
• Must be experienced with a personal computer, and proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with IRI / Nielsen syndicated data, and ERP system experience is preferred.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
