Entry Level Workers Compensation Associate Attorney. Do you want to do meaningful hands-on client-centric work without a billable hour requirement?
James F. Aspell, P.C. looking for a Workers compensation/personal injury litigation Associate to work in our Farmington office to handle Plaintiff side workers compensation and personal injury matters in Hartford, Middlesex, New London, Litchfield and New Haven Counties.
The things we are looking for in an associate are optimism, common sense, grit and the desire to be great at your job. Recent or pending bar admission okay.
We only do contingent fee injury work, and this job has NO billable hour requirements. You will have an immediate full charge case load and handle workers compensation and personal injury files from start to finish. We will give you hands on training and help with all aspects of the job and train you up to speed to be a successful workers compensation attorney with corresponding increase in compensation. In our office you will be part of a valued and very special team of people and not just some lawyer going through the motions. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
● Motion practice for all litigation files, to include the drafting and arguing of most motions on the record. ● Manage day-to-day handling of between 50 and 100 workers compensation files.● Deposition practice on all files. The successful candidate will be given a 3-month trial period to determine whether the firm and the associate are the right fit.
