Job Description

PrideStaff is currently seeking Assembler I/Grinder a manufacturing company located in Pomona, CA. This is a full-time, temp- to- hire position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

• Pay Range: $20-21
• Shift: M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm (some Saturdays may be required)

Position Summary

Under the close supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Assembler I assembles parts and machines using physical strength and a variety of hand and power tools. Will also grind parts with hand grinder for a large portion of the day.


Essential Job Duties

• Will be using hand grinders and hand tools to sand, buff, and grind large parts.
• Assemble machine parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools
• Follow mechanical blueprint instructions to assemble machines and verify detailing
• Advise the Lead or Supervisor of all problems
• Follows specific directions assembling machines and detailing of parts
• Scan jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems
• Follow all safety procedures in handling equipment and machines
• Distinguish between parts and the detailing
• Must meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Must be willing to submit to a clinic drug test and physical prior to start
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have have related manufacturing experience
• Must have experience in assembling large parts of equipment
• Must have experience in hand grinder parts.
• Mechanical ability and knowledge of tools
• Ability to read blueprints and tape measure
• Requires minimum guidance to assemble machines

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
