Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team with work relating to: Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). This is a part-time contract role for 3-6 months, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality work.

Duties & Accountabilities

• Assist with daily AR/AP tasks, including processing invoices, payments, and collections
• Resolve discrepancies
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues
• Assist with general accounting tasks and provide support to the accounting department as needed

Experience & Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in AR/AP or accounting role
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to pick up tasks quickly
• Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Strong commitment to attendance and reliability

Additional Information

1. This role is: fully onsite, part-time contract, temporary for 3-6 months, with the possibility for extension
2. All training and equipment will be provided
3. Must be able to work at least 4-5 hours per day between 7 AM and 4 PM, Monday to Friday
4. Hourly rate: $20-22, commensurate with experience
