General Ledger Accountant

Location: Austin, TX

Hourly Rate: $52 - $62

Details: Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization operates four regional centers around the world in Singapore; Shanghai, China; Cork, Ireland and Austin, Texas. As we continues to grow its global presence in new and existing markets, the GBS organization will grow to better manage and operate the regional sites and drive global coordination. We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant to support AMR GBS team.

Description

• Play integral role in monthly financial close process
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Partner with various business finance teams to provide service and support
• Assist with the preparation and compilation of audit requests periodically, and interface with internal and external audit teams
• Prepare periodic analysis and reporting
• Contribute to the implementation of projects that impact the organization, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policy
• Develop and Maintain standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with company policy, SOX, and US GAAP

Key Qualifications:

• Strong accounting, finance, or similar field with a minimum 5+ years professional experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with different levels of internal and external personnel
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills preferred

Compensation

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience, as well as the benefits package you select.
