Job Description

Accounting Manager needed for a 5 month C ontract opportunity ( with possible extension) with Yoh's client located in REMOTE .
The Big Picture Top Skills Should You Possess: Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will support the company's general accounting and financial reporting functions, including quarterly reviews, fiscal year-end audits , and ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX requirements. This role involves managing financial closes, parent company consolidation, workflow coordination, and internal control monitoring. The candidate will also handle financial statement preparation , audit coordination, and liaise with external and internal stakeholders.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Required Qualifications:
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting .
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with active status.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of diversified accounting experience .
At least 2 years in an accounting management role .
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
Experience with Oracle and Blackline preferred.
What You'll Be Doing:
Responsibilities/Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review financial statements and footnotes in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS .
Create ad hoc and monthly financial reports for the parent company and statutory financial statements for international branches.
Accounting Operations:
Work with the general ledger team to ensure accurate data integration and maintenance of the company's ledger.
Support the parent company consolidation process , ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Utilize tools like Blackline, Oracle , and spreadsheets to streamline processes and ensure SOX compliance.
Audit Coordination:
Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by providing required schedules and documentation.
Liaise with external auditors on audit projects, compliance assessments, and technical accounting matters .
Coordinate internal and external audit requests and ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls.
Process Improvement and Compliance
Monitor and enhance internal control systems using appropriate software tools.
Assist in workflow management during the close process , ensuring timely deliverables and compliance with SOX requirements.
